Is effective Canada wide, routing your call to the Québec FIC (Flight Information Center) for Weather Briefings for any flying area anywhere in Canada.

An Advanced Pilot Weather Briefing tells you where your nearest Airport is  and includes:

* Winds Aloft with Temp for 6, 9, 12, 15,000' ASL
* Freezing Altitude / Surface and 3000' Winds
* Temperature, / Dew Point
* Cloud Type (Cu, TCu's) / % of Cloud Cover
* Cloud Base & Tops / Stability / Instability
* Probability of Cu Nims / Detailed Regional Forecast
* Projected Turbulence (Thermic Activity)

This is where to file your HAGAR Notification
(How to obtain the right to fly in Controlled airspace for that day.)
All you have to do to file your HAGAR is tell your nearest FIC Weather Briefer where you are flying from; where you are flying to; and the time of day you expect to be flying, before you hang up. It's that simple and its a Free Service.

NOTE: If you plan to fly through Uncontrolled Airports which have Controlled Airspace, make sure you Obtain Permission from the Aiport Operator First.
