Applicants must be members of the BCHPA, if it
is a club applying club members must also be BCHPA members.

Project proposal must demonstrate additional
support from sources other than the BCHPA (e.g. labour supplied
by local pilots, local sponsors or local club members.) i.e the
BCHPA will not be able to pay for the entire cost of a
project. For longer-term projects the applicants may want
to consider a multi-phase development plan spread over 2 or 3
yrs.

Work on approved project must be completed
within 12 months of approvals so that if the money requested
from the BCHPA is not utilized it can be used to support
other projects.

projects are not funded retroactively.

Applicants must demonstrate that they have legal
access for several years in the future to the land which is the
subject of their application. This can take the form of
application to land and water BC for a license of occupation or
Land use agreements with minister of forest an agreement
with private forestry companies or private landowners.
Project applications must include the following:

Project summary and name of applicant or persons
responsible for the project.

Needs statement ( why is this project necessary)

Who are the primary users of this site and what
will be the benefits of this project.

How many pilots will benefit ( rough estimate
ok)

Who owns the land and has permission been
granted to proceed with the planned improvements.

Brief description of the work planned.

Work completion timetable
-
Budget required for completion
-
Work or finances that will be provided by the
applicant.
Submission Deadlines are as follows:
Round 1: Applications in by April 1st
- Decision May 1st
Round 2: Applications in by September
1st - Decision October 1st
