This is a far better flying site than the amount of use it is getting.

Landing Road Name and Direction:
The most common LZ along the river just west of the picnic area is very small and has POWER LINES running down the road. Fields change with the crops. The entire area is populated by Seventh Day Adventists They can be sensitive about pilots flying on Saturdays. Pick up your garbage DO NOT swear in the landing field (Even if you do nose it in and break your downtube...) Drink alcohol and if you have a pet keep it leashed.

Other Information:
Site was logged when we realized this site often has the only cu's in the valley in summer. Turns on like clockwork at 2:00pm. Good hill for Intermediates with pleasant enjoyable air. This is a very good reliable flying site that has been somewhat neglected since Mara was established. However it is equally good or in stable conditions better than Mara. A good place to work on XC skills. WATCH FOR POWERLINES in unusual locations crossing virtually all the valley's fields.
